My Mission Statement

I have my acupuncture and herbals practice in the little mountain community of Crestline in Southern California about 70 miles east of Los Angeles. I moved here because of the tranquility of the location and I love it. No noise, no traffic, no traffic lights, no road rage and a beautiful lake 2 minutes from my home. Unfortunately  patients from my former practice in Los Angeles either had to travel to see me or I had to travel to Los Angeles. Neither of which worked very well.  More and more I consulted with them by phone. It worked very well even though they missed the hands on treatments that they were used to receiving in my office. Some of them travel to the mountains occasionally for that “hands on treatment” and I will visit LA a few times a year.

Then I started receiving requests from new long distance patients for phone consultations. It has worked out quite well for both them and myself. No travel, for one thing. Travel is such a factor these days because of the high cost of gas. And, not to mention, everyone is so busy that a long distance trip is a bit daunting because of the traffic and time involved. 

By creating this web site I am answering the need people increasingly have for a qualified and skilled herbalist. Western medicine alone just isn’t doing it for a lot of us. I believe that allopathy has its place and we should use it when indicated.  And we need a western MD to diagnose and prescribe for us. If you are considering alternative medicine and taking herbs and supplements, you should also have a qualified expert in the field to assist and educate you so that you will get the best results. Perhaps there is no one near to you who can fulfill your alternative medical needs. Self diagnosing and self treatment are, at best, difficult. You probably do not have the either the training or experience and probably don’t have the time or desire to research and learn everything that you would need to in order to treat yourself. Consultation by phone from the comfort of your own home may be your answer.
